L’organizzazione mondiale Paintball (WPBO) è un risultato della cooperazione e discussione tra i campionati più importanti del mondo ed il UPBF, al fine di unificare lo sport del paintball e per portarlo ad un livello superiore e oltre.

Lo sviluppo del gioco è cresciuto globalmente con successo fino a raggiungere livelli record di partecipazione attraverso l’investimento guidato dai tornei faro; NXL, Millennium Series & Pals. Con una governance forte e costruttiva in tutto il mondo il Paintball può diventare un vero e proprio sport mondiale.

Il WPBO vuole innovare ed ispirare attraverso la partecipazione, l’impegno, l’istruzione e la regolazione corretta, sfruttando i valori di carattere-aggregazione di questo sport per coinvolgere nuovi pubblici in mercati Paintball esistenti e nuovi.

Con la creazione di un modello sostenibile di business e di governance per stabilire e promuovere le migliori pratiche a livello mondiale, il WPBO mira a garantire che il Paintball possa diventare noto e apprezzato da un numero di persone crescente in tutto il mondo e considerato un vero sport da parte di tutti.

Nel 2016, il nostro sport sarà finalmente armonizzato in tutto il mondo con le stesse regole, id card e campi.

Il nuovo sistema di ID card permetterà ai giocatori di usare le stesse card in tutti i campionati di tutto il mondo. Esso permetterà ai giocatori e ai team di avere statistiche precise e classifiche giocatori e squadre di tutto il mondo.

Il WPBO avrà lo stesso ed unico campo, formato e la struttura divisionale in tutto il mondo, che di per sé è un grande risultato. Noi tutti giocheremo la stessa partita, un vero e proprio sport.

Un comitato di migliori giocatori e allenatori di tutto il mondo hanno lavorato su nuove forme per rendere il gioco il megliore che sia mai stato. Inoltre essi hanno lavorato su layout che usciranno nei primi mesi dell’anno e ogni campionato potrà scegliere uno di essi per i propri eventi o creare il proprio.

The World Paintball Organisation (WPBO) is a result of cooperation & discussions between the world’s major leagues and the UPBF, in order to unify the sport of paintball and to take it to the next level and beyond.

The development of the global game has successfully grown to record levels of participation through the investment driven by the flagship tournaments; NXL, Millennium Series & Pals. With strong and constructive governance worldwide Paintball can become a true world sport.

The WPBO wishes to innovate and inspire through participation, engagement, education and proper regulation, harnessing the sport’s character-building values to engage new audiences in existing and new Paintball markets.

By creating a sustainable business and governance model to establish & promote global best practice, the WPBO aims to ensure Paintball becomes known & enjoyed by growing numbers throughout the world and considered a true sport by all.

In 2016, our sport will finally be harmonized worldwide with the same rules, ID cards and fields.

The new ID card system will allow players to use the same cards in all leagues all over the world. It will allow players & teams to have precise stats and worldwide player and team rankings.

The WPBO will have the same unique field, format & divisional structure worldwide, which in itself is a big achievement. We will all play the same game, a true sport.

A committee of the world’s best players and coaches have been working on new shapes to make playing the game the best it’s ever been. In addition they have been working on layouts which will be released early in the year and each league will be able to pick any of them for their events or create their own.

We strongly believe, by unifying the paintball tournament world, that the WPBO will be a unique tool to promote the growth of our sport.
